Repeat Prescriptions

Patients can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

  • In person – drop your repeat slip in at reception having clearly marked the items required.
  • Online – follow the link at the top of this page to register for our online services

Always allow 2 working days for your repeat prescriptions to be ready for collection.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Prescription Collection

Your prescriptions will be ready to collect from the surgery, alternatively you can nominate a regular Pharmacy and most prescriptions will then transfer via the secure NHS internet to that Pharmacy.  This is quick and secure and allows prescriptions to be tracked.  If your repeat prescription is transferred electronically then the pharmacy should give you a repeat sheet to use for further ordering.
